My First Year at Miebach

11.05.2026

Introduction

Joining Miebach a year ago meant entering a dynamic environment, where theory and practice constantly come together to generate real impact on clients’ operations. From the very beginning, I understood that learning is not a process separate from work, but an integral part of every project.

The beginning: first consulting experiences

My first project was in the automotive industry, a sector characterized by its complexity and high levels of operational demand. As in many first projects, the main learning was not only technical, but also about quickly understanding the client’s needs and how Miebach structures its consulting approach to respond to them, adapting to an environment where decisions have a direct impact on operations.

Over the following months, my focus evolved toward projects within the Oil & Gas industry, a growing sector in our country. This transition allowed me to broaden my perspective, explore new learning opportunities, and get to know regions of the country that are less explored but have great development potential—areas with different realities, yet equally demanding from an analytical and operational standpoint, always with the same objective: generating value from the supply chain, considering it end-to-end.

Throughout this process, there is something particularly tangible: every analysis and recommendation we develop does not remain conceptual, but materializes in reality. It is truly impactful to see how a conceptual design evolves into concrete operational solutions—from logistics networks and processes to distribution centers—that are functional, efficient, and capable of generating real value for companies.

Looking back, this first year left some key learnings:

    • Understanding the client’s context before proposing solutions
    • Structuring analyses clearly
    • Communicating effectively to turn analysis into decisions

The first training: a global experience

One of the most relevant milestones of the year was participating in my first training in Frankfurt and Heidelberg.

Beyond the technical content, which was highly enriching, the most valuable aspect was the cultural exchange with colleagues from different parts of the world. These types of experiences clearly reflect Miebach’s DNA: a global organization where knowledge is shared and strengthened through diversity.

The training not only allowed me to deepen my understanding of tools and methodologies, but also to learn different ways of analyzing complex situations, enriching both professional and personal development.

One year later: learning and evolution

After this first year it is clear that working at Miebach involves continuous learning, driven by the diversity of projects and exposure to different industries.

The experience gained is not limited to technical development, but also impacts the way of thinking, analyzing, and making decisions—with greater structure, a focus on results, and an end-to-end supply chain perspective.

Ultimately, this first year not only represented a stage of learning, but also a process of adaptation and growth that lays the foundation for the challenges ahead.
