Samson - MainChange - A Tour of the Factory of the Future in the Making

On 30 October 2026, the BVL Rhein/Main regional group will visit SAMSON AG’s MainChange project in Offenbach. The event is intended for students, young professionals and logistics and manufacturing professionals. Miebach will take part through Till Krenzien, deputy spokesperson of the BVL Rhein/Main regional group, who is scheduled to welcome guests.

The visit focuses on the production and logistics structures being developed for SAMSON’s new production and innovation site. The programme includes a project presentation, a site visit, a Q&A session and networking.

MainChange: developing production and logistics structures

SAMSON is developing a new production and innovation site in Offenbach through its MainChange project. According to the organiser, the investment of nearly EUR 400 million includes new manufacturing and logistics structures as well as innovative technologies. The visit offers insight into an ongoing industrial project and the future organisation of its factory and logistics operations.

For supply chain, manufacturing and logistics leaders, this raises practical questions: how can material flows and logistics planning be integrated early at a new site? These are potential discussion topics, not announced programme sessions.
