The importance of 360° development and “One Miebach"

The Miebach Family

From the moment you join the Miebach family, you notice that we are united not only by professional goals and the projects we undertake but also by something beyond each of us, yet of which we are all part.

Miebach was founded as a family business, a trait that is part of its DNA, and explains the origin of what I want to illustrate in this article. From the first interview, I was told about the company’s culture and shared values. However, as the years go by, I can affirm that it is the people who build these values, not the company imposing them.

Travel & Training

The primacy of values and people brings me to a curious point that reinforces this sense of belonging: how is it possible that, being present in so many countries and having such diverse offices, we are all one? The answer to this question lies in what I call Travel & Training. As the name suggests, this term encompasses training around the world, which succinctly embodies Miebach’s culture: innovation, professionalism, and diversity.

The training, does not only allow us to stay updated on the latest technological developments worldwide, but also to meet colleagues from other offices to exchange work experiences and personal stories. Spending an entire week with colleagues who share the same values is an invaluable experience! It gives one a strong sense of belonging, allowing us to develop both professionally and on a personal level.

When it comes to travel, we have the opportunity, once the training is over, to continue traveling; a benefit that, for those of us who love discovering new places and facing new adventures, is a real plus.

This year, 2024, we were fortunate to coincide with a colleague and friend from the Buenos Aires office at a training held in Heidelberg, Germany. We knew we had a great experience ahead of us, but we decided to take it to the next level and organize a trip through Europe together; destinations we had not yet visited and had pending. This not only allowed us to live incredible moments but also strengthened our bond. We traveled through five countries: Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, where we had the opportunity to visit logistics operations, museums, castles, and even natural parks. Beyond the places and technical knowledge, we met amazing people and got to know ourselves in an environment different from our daily lives.

In conclusion, Miebach’s culture goes beyond the company; we build it each day. I am very grateful to be part of this great family and hope I have conveyed what it means to grow with people who share such wonderful values.
