We are pleased to announce that Xavier Farrés has been appointed Managing Director of Miebach UK. Xavier has more than 30 years of experience in the supply chain field, most recently as the Business Development Director for Miebach Spain and a Partner of the Miebach Group. His transition into the role of MD for UK began earlier this year.
Xavier Farrés' career with Miebach started in 2013, when he joined the Barcelona office as a consultant and Head of Business Development. With a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Barcelona and an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney, Xavier is an expert in S&OP, Network Design, Target Operating Models, Change Management, and Implementation. He has experience in many sectors, with a focus in FMCG, retail, pharmaceutical, 3PL, and manufacturing. Prior to that, Xavier held senior supply chain roles in industry multinationals.
Xavier has led more than 100 projects in four continents, developing and implementing game changing E2E supply chain strategies for global players. During his time in Spain, Xavier led Miebach's alliances with some of its global partners, such as Coupa, JLL, Westernacher, and Telefónica Tech, and has worked very closely with the consulting, engineering, and digital teams in the Barcelona and Madrid offices.
Commenting on his appointment, Xavier said:

Since launching in 2017, Miebach UK has provided strategy, engineering, and digitalization services to leading local and international companies across a range of sectors. Andrew Marshall, the previous Managing Director, is retiring from the business. Miebach thanks him for his valuable contribution in developing the company in the UK in the last years.
