We are currently looking for Engineering Project Manager to support our growth. The new joiner will start his/her career in Miebach collaborate with clients and project teams to enhance supply chain efficiency and contribute to cost savings, understanding and modeling the Clients current operational processes, defining, and developing the design of their Distribution Centers and Manufacturing Plants, and supporting implementation activities for the new solutions.

 

This role presents an excellent career opportunity to develop supply chain modelling and design skills in multiple industries in an international environment. This position requires domestic travel depending on project requirements.

Mission:

You will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects, managing and leading teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions that meet client requirements. Responsible for the quality check of the project deliverables. Management of the project teams to achieve project objectives in line with the company's commitment to providing cost-effective solutions.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  1. Data analysis: Review the information will be taken as data bases for the project. Analyze the coherence of the deliverables by the project Team.
  2. Project methodology: propose a project methodology according with the project calendar and the available resources. Guide the team to follow the methodology with the quality and the timing expected.
  3. Project Planning: Develop and oversee comprehensive warehouse project plans, encompassing project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure all aspects of the project are well-defined and aligned with client expectations.
  4. Resource Management: Calculated the resources the impacts about the project accomplish and the budget.
  5. Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact with clients, establishing strong and transparent communication channels. Understand client requirements and maintain a client-focused approach throughout the project.
  6. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control processes, standards, and best practices to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and industry benchmarks.
  7. Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets and financial resources, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and optimizing resource allocation.
  8. Scope Management: Maintain a clear understanding of project scope and objectives and manage changes effectively to prevent scope creep. Communicate changes to the project team and clients to ensure alignment.
  9. Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts within project teams or with clients in a constructive and professional manner, promoting collaboration and a positive working environment.
  10. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and action plans. Ensure that documentation is accessible to project team members and clients.

Qualifications and Skills / Experience:

  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant engineering supply chain industry experience is required.
  • Extensive experience (+10 years) in logistics, warehouse operations, or management consulting.
  • Experience leading projects in the logistics and warehouse domain.
  • Deep knowledge of different automatic systems in intralogistics
  • Expert in logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tool: Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
  • Knowledge about BI tools as PowerBI.
  • Strong analysis skills and problem resolution.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Negotiation skills to bring a win-win agreement.
  • High level of English is a must, knowledge of other languages such as French or Portuguese is an advantage.

  • Technical Acumen: Understanding the mechanical technologies and knowledge about warehouse software.
  • Financial knowledge: Ability to calculate the retorn of investment and to understand the financial client inputs
