On April 18, 2000, Miebach Consulting opened its office in Mexico City. This supply chain strategy and engineering company was founded by Dr. Joachim Miebach in Frankfurt, Germany, 27 years earlier.
Since then, Miebach Mexico ─ which operates nationwide from its base in the capital ─ has worked with numerous companies across all industrial sectors, transforming their supply chains through solutions that combine strategy, engineering and digitalization and deliver efficiency and measurable impact.
The establishment of Miebach in Mexico marked a milestone in the group's expansion in Latin America, which had begun with the opening of its office in Buenos Aires in 1994, strengthening its presence in key markets. Additionally, Miebach Mexico has also played an important role in the group's broader strategy, acting as a bridge between North America and LATAM, consistently adapting to the needs of its clients.
During the early years of Miebach's operation in Mexico, the company's services were primarily focused on engineering and warehouse design projects. Over time, the portfolio evolved and is now structured around five main pillars: engineering and implementation, strategic supply chain transformation, operational excellence, digitalization, and sustainable supply chain/ logistics.
According to Héctor Quiñones, CEO of Miebach Mexico,
In this quarter century, technology has evolved, forming an integral part of our clients‘ needs, but our essence remains intact: understanding our clients’ needs and designing solutions that truly drive their business. This is part of the Miebach culture, understood and appreciated by those who have worked with us. We will continue to evolve with the market and, above all, with the people who make it possible.”
